We look forward to hearing from you!
Our team at Firefighters With PTSD offer basic off leash obedience training, one on one with you and your puppy/dog. This program is open to the public. Our goal is to help you become a confident handler with a well behaved dog.
This is not a service dog or ESA (emotional support animal) training program but if your interested in that we have resources for you.
This all depends on what you and your dog need to be a strong, confident team at home and in public. We work on the basics like sit, stay, come, heel, down, etc. We can work on more detail with problem behaviors like jumping, nipping, barking as well.
We tailor our program to your needs; say your dog is great but pulls really hard on the leash and is easily distracted. We will put together pricing for one on one training time based on your specific needs. If there are more complicated behaviors that are out of our scope of training, then we hook you up with one of our trainers that can go more in depth and tackle any problem behaviors that we can't.
For some people/families, they do not have the time or the interest for training. They may just want to send the dog off for a week and reap the results when their dog returns. We have options for that too! We would have a few one on one sessions after the board and train so that you can learn what your pup has learned, we want you to work as a confident team.
